Flight-Forming Machines

Lenham has specialised exclusively in the design and construction of flight-forming machines since it was founded in 1970. The Lenham cold-rolling process is the proven #1 throughout the world.

As well as offering continuous Helicoid Flighting cold rolled from mild steel (much of which is used in combine harvesters and other types of agricultural machinery, as well as industrial screw conveyers), our machines can also produce continuous flighting in stainless steel.

Our efforts to increase the working life of continuous flighting (which sustains greatest wear at the outer edge) has led us to develop a unique method for production of continuous helicoid flighting which has a thickened outer edge.

This we have trade-named ‘Super-Edge™’ and it provides 30% – 50% additional thickness at the outer edge of the flighting compared with conventional flighting with NO INCREASE IN RAW MATERIAL.

All Lenham models offer high speed flighting production and an excellent standard of quality and dimensional accuracy. Robust construction allows continuous 24 hour operation and maintenance requirements are minimal.
